Pet Policy

The Arc is a pet-friendly community that may approve one cat or one small dog (30 lbs or less) per eligible unit, subject to written approval, registration, and a pet deposit equal to one month’s rent. Pets are only allowed in studios, one-bedrooms, and certain two-bedrooms with full-unit rental or signed roommate consent; four-bedroom units are not pet-friendly. Pet owners must follow all rules for behaviour, movement (including carrying dogs inside until the main floor), restricted areas, and waste disposal, and are fully responsible for any damage, noise, or disturbances. Certain dog breeds and aggressive or disruptive animals are not allowed, and approval can be revoked at any time for non-compliance. All pet owners must also comply with City of Winnipeg licensing, vaccination, and animal control by-laws.
